Bring a shared evidence base to a conversation about family needs, housing or work. Keep individual circumstances in view.
Use structured CSV and JSON, traceable source fields and a clearly defined place. The same editions serve people and automated workflows.
Each comparison includes six questions and twelve observations. These are pooled 2020-2024 ACS five-year estimates, not a change-over-time analysis or a live service directory.
City comparison
Whole-city estimates using 2024 Census place boundaries.
Census ZIP-area comparison
Census 2020 ZIP Code Tabulation Areas. ZCTAs approximate postal ZIP areas and do not define exact delivery routes.
Among Census family households, what share had five or more people? These pooled estimates describe household size, not the presence of children or unmet child care needs.

Source: Census ACS 2020-2024, B11016. Cities and ZCTAs use different boundaries and may overlap. Do not add them together. Percentages are point estimates; no significance claim is made.
Separate populations answer separate questions. Household size does not prove child care demand. A mobile-home classification does not describe foundation quality. A work departure time does not measure commute duration.
The $1 edition includes the full comparison table, selected original source rows, field definitions, method and finding. The $5 edition adds six paired charts and record citations. The $10 edition includes everything below it, a contextual brief and runnable source checks. No tier claims a statistically significant difference.
Before acting, verify the current local facts that matter: prices, eligibility, service availability, travel time and the people affected.
Our calculations use Census ACS tables B11016, B25032 and B08302, matched to native geography identifiers. Component margins of error are retained. Derived percentage confidence intervals are not calculated.
